Owner of security company gunned down

The owner of Thaba Protection Services, William Mathebula was shot and killed in cold blood in front of his son at their home in Flora Park early on Tuesday. Provincial Police Corporate Communications Head Motlafela Mojapelo indicated that the incident occurred at about 07:10 when Mathebula’s 11-year-old son was waiting at the gate to go to school.
Three suspects confronted him and pushed him back into the house where they came across the domestic worker and then pushed both into the room where Mathebula already was.
They reportedly then, without saying a word, shot Mathebula several times in front of his son and domestic worker, according to Mojapelo.
He appealed to anyone with information to contact investigating officer Gerhard Kotze on 082 744 8205.
A case of murder has been registered. The motive for the killing is not yet known. Investigation continue.
