Dagga plantation uncovered in Groblersdal, suspect on the run

The discovery was made during an Operation Fiela II excercise through a tip off from the community.

LIMPOPO – According to police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the discovery was made in the Rossenekal policing area where dagga trees, to the street value of half a million rand was found.

“The suspect has since evaded arrest, he is still on the run but he has been identified and a manhunt has ensued.

Ngoepe says the plantation is still being destroyed by police, using a TLB and Grader supplied by the Elias Motswaledi Local Muncipality, under the Sekhukhune District Municipality.
