Kids Kingdom bids farewell to summer with pool party

Learners of Kids Kingdom Pre-school bid farewell to the summer during their pool party last weekend.
Learners discarded their usual school clothes in exchange for swimming costumes to ensure a pleasant swimming experience.
According to the school’s principal, Nathalie Nkuna, the pool party was the school’s way of marking the end of the long summer season and welcoming winter. She said the learners thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to swim in the school’s own pool. She added that provision was made for all learners to really make the best of the day.
“We had pool slides for our learners who are unable to swim in a proper pool and they were very well used. We had also had our Easter egg hunt as part of the celebrations and the activities were enjoyed by the learners,” Nkuna said.
