An enthusiastic response was received from learners at Taxila Secondary School when SANBS Limpopo held a blood clinic at the school on Thursday.
First-time donor Mpho Raletjena (16) said he has always enjoyed helping others where possible and decided to challenge himself and go the extra mile by donating blood. “It’s not so bad and I will definitely continue to donate blood regularly,” he said.
SANBS donor recruiter, Keith Zwane, said 36 units were donated.
