Vodacom hosted an ICT engagement on Thursday 19 April at the Fusion Hotel in Polokwane. The event, which was over-subscribed was well attended by government officials, business leaders and partners offering ICT services in Limpopo. “We are extremely humbled by the response to the event. “Vodacom is committed to supporting government and businesses through the technology revolution. Digital solutions are critical to improving efficiencies and service delivery, all of which are for the benefit of the citizens of Limpopo” Imran Khan, Managing Executive Vodacom Limpopo stated.
The digital expo had interactive stands so that attendees could physically experience the technology at work. “The Citizen app is an ideal way for communities to communicate with departments and support them with speedy resolution to faults like leaky taps and burst pipes “Busi Dlamini, Head of Enterprise Solutions for Vodacom Limpopo said.
There were subject matter experts that spoke about Cloud and hosting, Connectivity, and Enterprise Mobility and “Based on the networking session thereafter, we are confident that the event successfully achieved its objective of exposing the use of digital solutions to improve cost savings and customer experience for corporates, small enterprises and government.
It is clear that there is an immense appetite for more engagements from our customers so that they are exposed to the many digital solutions that Vodacom can offer. We are committed to hosting similar events in the near future so that we play our part in establishing a better, digital, future for all” Khan said.
