Cultural fair showcases talent

PEPPS Preparatory School and College hosted a cultural extravaganza at the school recently during which learners could showcase their debating and public speaking skills. The chock-full programme also featured individual musical performances, a battle of the choirs, bands, battle of the disc jockeys and dance. PEPPS executive headmaster, Annabel Roberts said this was the first cultural gathering of its kind hosted by the school and in which Mitchell House and Eagle’s Nest Christian School also participated. She stated that the intention was for learners to showcase talent and celebrate cultural activities, adding that there were a lot of sport festivals while cultural festivals still lack behind.
Roberts indicated that such gatherings help the school and parents to identify talent in their children and reiterated that they are planning to make PEPPS cultural extravaganza an annual event. She concluded by saying they are planning to attract more schools in the future.
