The children of Share Joy Pre-school got into the Fifa Soccer World Cup spirit and had their own mini soccer world cup recently complete with ‘fans’ cheering them on.
School head Josephine Kagori said the day was not only a lot of fun but also educational as the children learnt about the teams competing in the Fifa Soccer World Cup, some of the rules of soccer and how to play as a team. “And of course how to be good sportsmen, even if they lost,” she said with a smile.
