POLOKWANE – According to police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the situation is calm now following service delivery protests in the area earlier this morning.

Residents blocked Nelson Mandela Drive with burning tyres and rocks.

The spokesperson for the Department of Transport, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala, has advised motorists in the area to rather use the Westenburg/Matlala road instead.
