POLOKWANE – “Learning is the key to any child’s future, so by using games teachers can involve the children and keep them interested in learning new things.” said Jules Khomo, principal of Oakwood Academy.
During the visit the children were encouraged to shoot hoops, hunt for different shapes in the garden, play hide and seek and kick soccer balls. The enjoyable celebration ended with stories and ice-cream as a treat.
“I was very happy to have Mickey and Minnie spend time with our young learners as we believe all futures start at early childhood level. “That’s the right time to start empowering our young learners to reach for the stars,” Jules concluded.
