‘Night of the Stars’ recognises top performing learners, educators

Top performing learners, athletes and educators of Northview Christian Academy were recognised and awarded for producing outstanding results in both academic and extramural activities during the school’s ‘Night of the Stars’ merit evening at Agapé Christen Gemeente last Thursday.
Learners were rewarded for best performances in various sporting codes and subjects while staff members were recognised for their dedication and commitment. When welcoming parents at the start of the night, principal Zirkia Walkenshaw said the gathering also aimed to bid farewell to Grade 7 learners as they will be joining different secondary schools next year, and award 2018 prefects for their contribution.
Walkenshaw emphasised that she was proud of all the learners who have worked hard this year. She thanked educators for continuing to shape learners into future leaders and parents for ensuring that their children look after their school work. The 2018 awards winners are:
