Polokwane Municipality’s celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) that is scheduled for next Tuesday to Saturday, offers a variety of activities targeting innovators and job creators.
The aim of the activity is to drive economic growth and expand human welfare. It is also a platform for awareness and highlighting of the importance of entrepreneurship as an economic driver. Entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to network and connect with potential collaborators and mentors.
The week’s activities will kick off with a GEW seminar at Jack Botes Hall on Tuesday, followed by a culinary show and competition at Limpopo Chefs Academy in Nirvana on Wednesday. On Thursday, an agri trade fair and seminar will be hosted at Polokwane Cricket Club, with a fashion show and competition scheduled for Friday at the Library Gardens auditorium. The final event is a tourism exhibition at Tibane Mall in Ga-Matlala on Saturday.
