Pietersburg Comprehensive School (PCS) held their annual excellence awards ceremony held at the school last Wednesday evening and presentations were made to learners who excelled in academics and sport during the year.
2018 Dux learner Malebo Mokobodi was also named most unobtrusive learner of the year in the Senior Phase.
Thato Kgosiemang was named the sport woman of the year in the Senior Phase while Tlotliso Makgai was bestowed with the senior Victor Ludorum award.
Oarabile Moanakoena was bestowed with Dux trophy for intermediate phase while Marumo Mohlabe walked away with Victrix Ludorum award.
Congratulating the learners, Principal of the School, Rudi Fick said the achievements of the top performing learners will serve as motivation to their fellow learners. “I am very pleased with the hard work they have put in throughout the year. They have shown their fellow pupils that dedication and hard work brings recognition, awards and prizes in life.
“To all our top performers I want to say they must continue to give it their best at all times and inspire their fellow learners”
