Retailers ready with special deals on Black Friday

Residents of the city and even surrounding towns are looking forward to Black Friday that will be observed next week and the business fraternity indicated that the day will offer great deals, transforming shops to a buyer’s paradise.
Black Friday originates from the American idea to have a dedicated shopping day on the Friday following Thanksgiving Day, celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November every year. It is regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season and most retailers open earlier and even extend their shopping hours into the late evening.
Most retailers in Mall of the North have special deals in line for Black Friday and with the wide variety of merchandise on offer, shoppers should not be disappointed. “Most shops in the Mall will open at midnight on Thursday and will be open later on Friday. We provide ample and safe parking and are going the extra mile to make clients’ visits to the Mall a pleasant experience,” says Mari Delport, Marketing Manager of Mall of the North.
Others retailers in the city with special offers include UFO, JBM Steel and are ready to welcome their clients to deals never to be repeated. Gilani Tile Warehouse offers up to 90% discount on selected items, while Stewarts & Lloyds’ Promax welder at only R699 per unit is a real bargain, although special prices are only available on cash and carry items. At Nictus Polokwane a great deal waits on a full leather recliner lounge suite and a visit to Westvaal Polokwane may have you driving out with a brand new Opel, just the right vehicle for an unforgettable holiday trip.
