PEPPS Preparatory School and College hosted the annual prize giving ceremony for its Foundation Phase learners at the school on Friday.
Nearly 80 top performers in academics, sport and culture received awards and certificates in acknowledgement of their achievements.
Educator Chantéll Kidd explained its purpose was to reward excellence and motivate learners to continue working hard. She added that such recognition boosts learners’ morale. She congratulated all the prize winners and encouraged those who did not receive any accolades to work harder in the next academic year. The u.9 soccer team was also acknowledged for winning the Limpopo Schools’ Football League.

Mohau Fourie – Junior Football Player of the Year and Junior Male Swimmer of the Year.
Zuhaib Muhammad – Junior Cricketer of the Year.
Tsheamo Mosana – Junior Hockey Player of the Year.
Rozaan Korff – Junior Female Swimmer of the Year.
