Speeding vehicle on the R71 near Nobody leads to the death of five people

The driver of another vehicle sustained serious injuries

POLOKWANE – Five passengers of a speeding BMW lost their lives when the driver of the vehicle they were travelling in lost control and collided head on with a Toyota, says spokesperson for the department of transport, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala.

The vehicle was travelling on the R71 near Mathibaskraal on Saturday night, 17 November.

Moremi-Taueatsoala confirmed that all five passengers of the BMW sedan died and the driver of the Toyota sustained serious injuries. The cause of the accident, he says, was due to reckless driving.
