POLOKWANE – The Long Walk to a Better Life organisation has done it again, as they walked the talk by embarking on a walk from Polokwane to Groblersdal in an effort to raise awareness on women and child abuse, urge drivers to change their mindsets and obey the rules of the road as well as to promote taking care of people living with disabilities.

Since then, he has been covering various distances every year in support of the selected cause for that particular year. “This year we’ll be walking to the Bosele School for the Blind and Deaf at Elias Motsoaledi Municipality at Groblersdal. When we started this initiative, I only had two people on my team, today we have a team of seven people,” he said.
Mogale thanked the Polokwane Municipality Disability Forum, Polokwane Municipality, Morgan Copy Shop, Folang Medical Centre, Metropolitan, Kgaugelong Disability Centre and Roads and Transport for the support they have shown in making the day possible. They requested anybody who can assist them with a sponsorship to come forward, as they are short of supplies that could grow their initiative. For more information contact Simon at 076 899 4622.
