Two young men arrested after attacking a man on the R81 road
Police in Polokwane are currently investigating a case of attempted murder and possession of dangerous weapons against two suspects aged 18 and 25-years-old after a man was assaulted.
POLOKWANE – According to Provincial Police Spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the incident took place on Saturday, 1 December around 07:00am on the R81 road near Mall of the North where the two young men saw a man walking alone the road and they attacked him.
“The police were notified and responded immediately, the two suspects were arrested on the scene. During the arrest the suspects had in their possession a toy gun and three knives. “We are currently still investigating the matter and the victim is still recuperating in hospital with serious injuries,” Ngoepe explained.
The two suspects will appear in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court.
