Maths wizzes in the making

David Pullinger, a Grade 11 learner at Stanford Lake College who was awarded a medal, certificate and cash prize for being the second runner-up in Limpopo in the second round of the South African Mathematics Olympiad. His fellow learners Helene Werhahn and Lara Dando were placed in the top 1% of over three thousand candidates who wrote the Grade 11 Independent Examinations Board’s Benchmark Test (IeBT) in Mathematics earlier.
