Mayor launches Saselamani Stadium

The Mayor of Collins Chabane Local Munipality Moses Maluleke, has urged the community to look after the world class Saselamani Stadium.

LIMPOPO – He spoke at the stadium’s official launch on 17 December.

He said vandalism was something that should be discouraged.

Executive committee member Tshepo Masia , local headman Norman Maluleke , Collins Chabane mayor Moses Maluleke , former Bafana Bafana coach Ephraim Shakes Mashaba ,Collins Chabane Chief whip Miyelani Chauke , headman Hosi Bohani Shigamani.

“As a community, look after this stadium, because this is where our children must play and develop their talent. Here we have a swimming pool, netball court and a basket ball court, so this was built for you to utilise and produce future stars,’’ said Maluleke.

The stadium was built at a cost of R42 million.

Local headman, Hosi Thomas Xikundu and former Bafana Bafana coach Ephraim Shakes Mashaba applauded the municipality for building the stadium.

The launch was followed by the Mayoral Soccer Tournament and entertainment by artists Percy Mfana and Mhani Flo.
