Athletics a highlight of second school day

As a highlight of its second school day of the year, Jabez Christian Academy hosted its colours athletics event at Hoër Tegniese Skool Tom Naudé on Tuesday.
The entire school took part and learners were divided into two teams, Green and Purple and took part in several track and field items.
Principal Elana Erasmus said that it was a blessed day and that the event afforded the learners an opportunity to show their God-given talents. “We had beautiful weather and the learners are now geared for the challenges of the year ahead,” she said.
Results of the event had not been finalised at time of going to print.
