Here is what some of the gr 8 learners had to say about the concert;
Boikanyo Legodi said, “It was an exciting way to start the year, it was fun to be part of this concert and I am looking forward to more concerts in the next coming years. It was also nice seeing our parents and teachers in the audience cheering for us,” he said.
Kamogelo Hlope said, “The concert was fun and allowed us to have fun with one another just before things got hectic with school work. Atleast we know now that we are capable of hosting fun events which can be enjoyed by all learners, teachers and our parents,” she explained.
Lethabo Mogotlane said, “I had so much fun being part of the opening acts which I think stood out as the parents, teachers and learners in the audience waited in anticipation for this first ever gr 8 concert to start. It was fun and I learned a lot being part of this,” she said.
Marylyne Motadi said, “I had lots if fun during the concert. It was a great way to be welcomed into high school and I am looking forward to more than that is to take place for the rest of the year,” she said.
Reneilwe Sekwaka said, “I enjoyed every minute of being in the show and I can see that this is going to be a fun learning year. It was a great welcome to high-school and having our parents and other family members as part of the audience pushed us to work even harder to ensure that we deliver an awesome show,” she said.
