Five schools competed in the independent athletics meeting for high schools at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Friday with Stanford Lake College (SLC) emerging as winning school but also taking home three individual trophies.
SLC finished top of the score board with 739 points with hosting school Curro Heuwelkruin second with 687 points and PEPPS Polokwane Preparatory School and College third with 518 points. Eagle’s Nest Christian School’s score of 498 secured them the fourth place while they also took home the spirit trophy. Southern Cross was fifth on 374 points.
SLC’s Isabella Drewett was announced as junior Victrix Ludorum while Lia Revelas and Rofhiwa Nevhutalu claimed the trophies as senior Victrix and Victor Ludorum respectively. The junior Victor Ludorum was Duncan Mwale of Southern Cross.
