Northern Academy awards top performing learners

Thaketso Chokoe, Nkosenhle Ndlovu, Greeshma George and Pheladi Rachoshi had all the reason in the world to stand tall on stage when Northern Academy presented its 2018 merit awards during a function at the school last Friday. They were named the Grade 8, 9, 10 and 11 Dux learners for last year and rewarded with trophies and certificates for achieving excellence in their studies.
Chris Jansen Van Rensburg, principal, said the achievers set a good benchmark for their fellow learners to pursue.
“We are proud to be associated with this crop of leaners. As a school with a proud history of academic excellence we encourage all our earners to strive towards that goal and we will continue to reward the best of the best, he said.
