The annual general meeting of the Limpopo branch of the Businesswomen’s Association of South Africa (Bwasa) is scheduled to take place at Uhuru Lifestyle Emporium in the city on 7 March at 09:30 and one of the highlights on the agenda will be the current Chairperson, Mmabogoshi Msiza’s report of the organisation’s activities of the previous year.
The election of office bearers for 2019 to 2022 will also take place and the meeting is open for all businesswomen although only paid-up members will be allowed to vote. “New members are always welcome and applications for membership may be lodged at the organisation’s offices at Uhuru Lifestyle Emporium at 42A Thabo Mbeki Street,” Msiza said and invited interested businesswomen to call Bwasa Limpopo Secretary, Elizabeth Modiba on 015 065 0879 for details about membership.
Msiza mentioned that some of the members of the Executive Committee that were elected three years ago, have resigned and that the positions were filled by co-opted members. “I am also stepping down after a highly successful term of office and am confident that some new blood will take the organisation to new levels,” Msiza said.
