Mugg & Bean Mall of the North was packed to capacity on Thursday evening while diners were queueing outside until well after 21:00 to take advantage of a bargain meal for two at only R200. Guests indulged in a menu comprising Welsh Rarebit, Crumbed Chicken, a Rib and Wing Combo, Mugg & Bean’s famous Big Daddy Burger, a Crispy Cajun Folder or a sumptious Cleveland Cheese Steak. Drinks and desert were not included in the set menu and the regular menu was also available to ensure that there was something to satisfy every taste.
Guests who arrived at the Savannah Mall outlet shortly before 18:00 were directed to Mall of the North when loadshedding hit the mall before their meals could be processed. Musicians Jan and Daleen Curtin also had to pack their instruments and deliver their promised live performance at Mall of the North.
