PCS announces 2019 prefects

Pietersburg Comprehensive School (PCS) announced the school’s leaders for the 2019 academic year during a small ceremony held at the school on Tuesday.
Khomotso Rangongo, educator and prefect mentor at the school had the honour of announcing the names to the educators and learners. The group consists of 40 Grade 7 learners who are tasked with acting as a bridge between the principal, educators and students.
PCS Headmaster, Rudi Fick explained that the learners were chosen according to their academic performance and exemplary behaviour. “They have the qualities of good leaders and they are good performers. One of their tasks will be to help and support their classmates and be good examples to their peers.”
Malose Rasekgala and Tshegofatso Masekoameng were announced as head girl and head boy and will be assisted by Thato Kgosimang and Hope Moeti.
