Piet Hugo learners have fun in the sun

Grade 1 and Grade 3 learners of Laerskool Piet Hugo ditched their school uniform for swimsuits and trunks last Friday and joined the school’s fun day and fund raising event with great enthusiasm.
The jumping castles and water slides proved to be just the answer to the hot weather. Grade 6 and 7 learners were on hand to assist those young ones who were slightly apprehensive of the water.
The fun day is part of a number of initiatives to raise funds for the refurbishment of the school and its recreational facilities.
