Lebowakgomo police seek assistance in identifying man (25) who was murdered
Police appeal to anyone in the Thokgoaneng village, who may have a missing family member, to go to the Lebowakgomo police station for identification.
POLOKWANE – Police in Lebowakgomo outside Polokwane have launched a massive manhunt for unknown suspects after the body of a 25-year-old man was found by a passerby in the bushes near the Thokgoaneng village.
In a statement released, police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe says police were notified about the incident, reacted swiftly and commenced with initial investigations.

“Police are appealing to the community to come and assist with the identification of the deceased as he is currently unknown. Police appeal to anyone in the Thokgoaneng village, who may have a missing family member, to go to the Lebowakgomo police station for identification,” he urged.
The deceased is tall and was found in a black and white striped t-shirt, blue jeans and light blue takkies.
“The motive behind the killing of this man is not clear at this stage but ongoing police investigations will tell.
