LIMPOPO – Five suspects between the ages of 23 and 42-years-old were arrested by Limpopo police following a robbery at a store in the Maake plaza.
According to police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe, a group of armed suspects attacked employees of a store in the Maake Plaza on Thursday morning before they were to open for customers. In the process, the suspects got away in a Toyota Quantam, with an undisclosed amount of money.
“The suspects were arrested within few hours in De-Oaks village which is about 60kms from the crime scene and during the arrest, police recovered two rifles, including an AK 47, one 9mm pistol, the Toyota quantum and cash believed to be part of the robbery,” he said in a statement.

The origin of the recovered items during these operations will be determined by the ongoing Police investigations and the suspects are expected to appear in court, soon.
