POLOKWANE – Police in Tubatse, outside Burgersfort, have launched a search operation for a missing teenage girl, Thanaka Gatsi (13) from Dresden village who was last seen on 19 February.
Police investigations say Gatsi was last seen by her mother when she left home for school at Mmiditsi High School (Bothashoek).
“At the time of her disappearance, Gatsi was wearing black trousers and a white shirt with black shoes. She was also carrying a school bag. Police efforts to locate her at friends and relatives as well as in surrounding areas were unsuccessful,” said police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe in a statement.
