Food connoisseurs of the city are looking forward to the Turkish Food festival scheduled to take place at the overflow parking area of Mall of the North from 26 to 28 April.
The event promises to be a culinary extravaganza and will start at 11:00 on all three days and end at 19:00.
Food and drinks will be served under tents to create a festive atmosphere. The venue is much bigger this year and judging from last years’ experience, a good turnout is expected.
Middle-Eastern delights such as Adana Kebabs, Doner Rolling Shawarmas, Kumpir Baked Potatoes, Baklava and, naturally, Turkish Delights will be on the menu while traditional Turkish tea and coffee will be a perfect round-off for an interesting tour of the stalls with something for everyone.
There will also be a kiddies’ zone to ensure a family friendly outing with much to learn about the Turkish culture.
Entrance is free and ample safe parking will be available.
