New and affordable style made its way to the city’s Converse Mall of the North (MoN) that has on Friday officially opened its doors to cater for customers with a different sense of fashion.
Although the store started operating on 5 April, the grand opening on Friday was to welcome new customers in style by giving them free Converse sneakers valued at R599 and a goodie bag to the first ten customers when they spend R500 or more on any items on offer.
The outlet currently offers Chuck Taylor Converse takkies that include, One Star, All Star, Jack Purcell, Core and Chuck 70s and a variety of Converse clothing.
Converse MoN manager Tshepo Modikwe indicated that their main aim was to bring new style and fashion to Polokwane before expanding to other districts in the province. He further stated that customers can expect nothing but well-designed takkies and clothes to match their fashion taste, adding that the five employees are keen to offer exceptional service.
“We have a campaign of women empowerment on Chuck 70s. The designs were inspired by women. Since the opening, we have seen a great demand for Chuck Taylor brands and we are hoping to attract more customers in the future. Anyone with a sharp eye for fashion can visit the store for amazing products,” Modikwe explained and reiterated that they are still going to bring more fashionable items.
MoN marketing manager, Mari Delport welcomed the outlet to the Mall of the North family and wished them well in business. She further reckoned that MoN customers will now have a variety of fashionable items to choose from and concluded by saying they were looking forward to a healthy working relationship.
