LIMPOPO – In a statement released, Police spokesperson, Constable Maphure Manamela says the suspect was arrested at around 08:00 Sunday morning, while police were conducting their routine search at the border post.
“The bus that she was travelling in had just crossed over when it was directed to the searching bay for inspection. During the search, 200 units of Superpower 90 Blasting cartridges, wrapped inside plastic bags, were recovered in her luggage,” Manamela explains.

The origin and destination of these explosives will still be determined by the ongoing police investigations, she adds.
The suspect will soon appear before the Musina Magistrate’s Court on a charge of possession of illegal explosives. Police investigations are still continuing.
