[HIGHLIGHTS] Local learners ‘spell it out’ at Spelling Bee

The Juniors and Seniors Spelling Bee Tournament which was hosted by Mitchell House on Wednesday, 24 April, saw Gr 4-7 learners from various schools in the city take to the podium to prove they are the best at spelling.

POLOKWANE – Schools which participated included Pepps, Mitchell House, Eagles Nest Christian School, Curro Huiwel Kruin, Curro Northern Academy as well as Thorntree Preparatory School.

A spelling bee is a competition in which contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with a varying degree of difficulty.
