On their way to finals they claimed the scalps of last year’s champions and tournament’s favourites Mitchell House and Pietersbug Comprehensive School (PCS).
Head coach of FCPS, Tshepang Mohulatsi said they were happy to finally win the tournament. “It was our second time participating in the tourney. We wanted to win it last year but we could not, we managed to reach semi-finals. We are happy for the learners, they have proven to themselves that they are capable of winning. They are a center of inspiration and we are looking forward to defend the title next year,” Mohulatsi said.
Congratulating FCPS, Head of Sport at Pemps Mabine Mametja said they wish them all the best in defending the tittle next year. “We had a successful tournament. All the learners enjoyed playing against each other. This was a platform for them to showcase their talent and learn from one another,” Mametja said.
