Laeveld Agrochem/Pest Ex celebrates 20 years, honours long service workers

Laeveld Agrochem/Pest Ex not only celebrated their 20th birthday on Friday but also honoured two of its employees who have been part of the business since its inception.
Storeman Joel Mankuru and general worker Joyce Ratsoma were overwhelmed during the in-house celebration when they received certificates and huge gifts from owner Hill van Schalkwyk.
“When I took over the business in 1999 Mankuru and Ratsoma were already here and they have been walking the road with me ever since. I am proud to say that they have not only been loyal to me and the business, but they have not been absent one day without valid reason,” Van Schalkwyk indicated.
He also referred to two commission agents, Callie Engelbrecht and Callie Benade who have been part of the business for the past 20 years and thanked them for their continuous hard work in providing only the best products and services to clients.
Van Schalkwyk emphasised that Laeveld Agrochem/Pest Ex focusses on quality products and the latest technology to assist big and small farmers. “We deliver top quality products together with expert advice and personal interaction. Everything we do is an effort to help farmers maintain a sustainable and profitable business,” Van Schalkwyk said.
Their product range includes, among others, insecticides, foliar feeds, herbicides and fertiliser and they stock some of the best brands such as Syngenta, Villa, Agri Technovation, Corteva and Bayer.
