Northview Christian Academy (NCA) hosted PEPPS Preparatory School for three Limpopo Independent Schools Football league matches at their sport fields last Thursday.
The visitors managed to defeat their hosts 4-2 in the u.12 and 2-0 in the u.11 division respectively while NCA’s u.13 team claimed a 2-0 victory. While the league does not cater for the u.10 division a friendly match played between the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw.
NCA football coach Oliver Gono gave credit to his players as he indicated that they played exceptionally well against one of the bigger schools in the city. He said they were pleased with the results and applauded players from both schools for displaying great sportsmanship.
