POLOKWANE – Repairs on a leaking pipe that was caused by alleged acts of vandalism, have led to Lepelle Northern Water (LNW) stopping water supply from the Ebenezer scheme, reports the Polokwane Municipality.
Spokesperson, Thipa Selala says all areas of supply will be affected and that it will take over five hours to repair the leak. He added that water will take a while to reach affected areas after the repairs are done and that areas receiving water are urged to use water sparingly.
“The Municipality will provide regular updates in terms of any new developments,” his statement concluded.
