POLOKWANE – A 23-year-old man arrested on Monday for fraud, was granted R1 000 bail in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 24 July.
The suspect will appear again on the case was postponed to 29 July 2019

POLOKWANE – A 23-year-old man arrested on Monday for fraud, was denied bail in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 23 July and remanded in custody.
The suspect was arrested by the Hawks Serious Commercial Crime Investigating unit after he bought a vehicle using a fraudulent payslip and bank statement, stated Hawks Spokesperson, Capt Matimba Maluleke.
The vehicle is valued at R300 000 and the transaction took place on 3 April.
Maluleke says the suspect was arrested at Kwaggafontein Court in Mpumalanga, where he was appearing for another case. The stolen motor vehicle was recovered.
He will appear again tomorrow (Thursday) for a formal bail application.
