Limpopo game capturer dies in helicopter crash outside Alldays
One person was killed and another seriously injured when a helicopter crashed on a farm outside Alldays in the Vaalwater district on Tuesday.
LIMPOPO – Traffic Policing Affairs Limpopo confirmed in a post on Facebook that a Bell-47 helicopter crashed on the farm Tshwarelano near Alldays. The pilot sustained serious injuries and died on the way to a local hospital.
A second occupant sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital in Polokwane where he is in a stable condition.
The pilot has since been confirmed as well-known game capturer, Coena Smith Sr (69).
