Day 3 of Mokopane protests: Large crowd arrive at Oasis Lodge
Several hundreds of protestors have arrived at Oasis Lodge, and are awaiting municipal officials to brief them regarding the outcome of a closed meeting that was held this morning.

MOKOPANE – Several hundreds of protestors have arrived at Oasis Lodge, and are awaiting municipal officials to brief them regarding the outcome of a closed meeting that was held this morning.
The chairpersons of the Mogalakwena Task Team (MTT), South African National Civic Organisation (Sanco) and Mokopane Concerned and Affected Citizens (MCAC) have been escorted into the building.
The shutdown is a result of the previous protests which brought town to a standstill on 1 and 2 August after the killings of two ANC councillors, Vaaltyn Kekana and Ralph Kanyane.
