[WATCH] Muni clean-up affects traffic – to continue next week

POLOKWANE –  Traffic is backed-up on the bridge on Landdros Maré Street in the direction of the central business district (CBD). This is due to a municipal clean-up operation.

The municipal team is cleaning up gravel which has gathered on the road surface in order to make the roadway safer for the motorists in the rainy season. The outer left-hand lane (direction town) will be blocked for the rest of today, (Wednesday, 20 November).

The team will continue on the opposite side of the road on Monday, 25 November.

Motorists are urged to remain patient to avoid the possibility of causing collisions.
