Shoppers at Mall of the North were treated to a Valentine’s Day photo booth where families and love birds were allowed to pose for professional photographs from Friday until Sunday.
The photo booth was powered by Kiley Kreations Photography and shoppers were specially photographed by company owner, Charl Celliers. Despite load shedding that was experienced during the weekend, the turnout was amazing. One could assume that there was some sort of fashion parade as visitors were dressed to impress.
The highlight of the weekend was when Dakalo Magwala went down on one knee to propose to his sweetheart of three years, Matodzi Mundalamo at the photo booth. Creative Magwala hid the ring inside a flower which he presented to his lover. Out of excitement, Mundalamo accepted the gift with a ‘Yes’. Several birthdays such as that of a Valentine’s Day baby boy Chika Moila and baby girl Atlegang Seloana were celebrated at the mall on Friday and Saturday respectively.
MoN Marketing Manager Mari Delport indicated that this was a celebration to thank customers for their continued support trusting the mall with all their shopping needs. She stated that all the stores had Valentine’s Day sales as a token of appreciation to customers and reiterated that models from Limpopo Beauty Modelling Academy added fun to the occasion with their freeze modelling skills as they formed part of a display at various stores. Delport thanked shoppers for visiting the mall and concluded by assuring them that they will continue receiving best customer service and goods at MoN.
Modelling academy owner Katryn Celliers emphasised that they had 10 beauty queens who acted like real mannequins displaying latest fashion trends at stores that included Woolworths, Edgars, Foschini and Soda Bloc. She highlighted that the act made shopping memorable for customers.
