Tommies beat Hoërskool John Vorster in pre-season rugby matches

The u.15 rugby teams of Hoër Tegniese Skool Tom Naudé showed class and precision to win their pre-season friendly matches against Hoërskool John Vorster at the school’s rugby field on Saturday.
The u.15A team thrashed John Vorster 15-5 while the B team beat their counterparts 21-19 to win the enthralling encounter.
Michael Van Heerden, Christian Badenhorst and Jayden Raath scored tries for the u.15A team in the first and second half of the match respectively.
Kobus de Meyer, head of sport at Tommies said they appreciated the display shown by all the teams during the games. “The matches formed part of our preparations for the up coming rugby schools league which will commence after the Easter Holidays. The learners did well in all their matches and we are confident that they will also do well in the league.”
