BREAKING NEWS – Westenburg Police Station Detective Unit Commander in court

Obed Malindela Tshikudo (55), Detective Unit Commander at Westenburg Police station was arrested in Ivypark last Saturday morning for allegedly driving a State vehicle without authority.
It was reportedly discovered that the vehicle had allegedly been used to transport a full load of paving bricks and groceries, explained Provincial Police Communications Head Motlafela Mojapelo.
Mojapelo further indicated that the suspect was arrested in the vicinity of his house.
The accused had appeared in Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Monday and was released on R3 000 bail, Mojapelo said. The case was postponed to a date in June for further Police investigations.
