Water shortages in city being attended to, says muni
Supply will be restored once the challenges have been dealt with.

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municpality has been made aware of water shortages in and around the city and confirmed that technicians are attending to these problems.
Municipal Spokesperson, Thipa Selala says the municipality is attending to the problem in the Nirvana and Ivy park area and normal water supply will be restored once the challenges have been dealt with.
Selala added that a damaged pipe was also reported in the Seshego area which has affected the supply of water to Zones 2, 3, 5 and 8. “A 430mm pipe that has been damaged and a contractor is currently working on restoring supply to the affected area,” he said.
Water supply will be restored once the contractor has fixed the pipe within estimated 3 hours.
