POLOKWANE – One person died and several were injured when a police vehicle crashed into a car dealership after chasing after suspected criminals.
Landdros Maré from Excelsior to Rissik Street as well as Rissik Street from Market to Schoeman Street were closed as a result.
According to Municipal Spokesperson, Thipa Selala, the accident in the Polokwane CBD claimed the life of one person and left several others, including a police officer, injured.
The police could not immediately confirm the incident.
