Driver dies after vehicle overturns and catches fire
A 26-year-old man lost his life after his vehicle overturned and caught fire along the N1 south earlier this afternoon.
LIMPOPO – A traffic incident on the N1 south has claimed the life of a 26-year-old motorist.
According to a statement issued by the spokesperson for the Department of Transport, Matome Moremi Taueatsoala, the incident happened approximately 5km south of the Nyl Toll Plaza at 12:30.
“It is alleged the driver lost control of the vehicle due to a possible burst tyre.”
The vehicle overturned and caught fire.
