‘Bullet-riddled body’ found wrapped in plastic identified as liquor store owner

Police say the motive for the killing is unknown.

LIMPOPO – The body found wrapped in plastic has been identified as 44-year-old Naledzani Munyai, an owner of a liquor outlet in Thohoyandou.

The bullet-riddled body of the deceased was found wrapped in a plastic bag on a mountain at Tshidzivhe village on Wednesday, June 9.

Police spokesperson, Brig Motlafela Mojapelo said the deceased was identified on Saturday, 12 May.

The motive for the killing is still not known and the police urges anyone with information about this incident to contact Det Serg Maanda Christopher Sumbana on 072 267 7346.

Limpopo businessman’s bullet-riddled body found in plastic bag

LIMPOPO – A case of murder has been opened by the police in Thohoyandou, following the discovery of a 44-year-old man’s body.

According to a statement by police spokesperson, Brig Motlafela Mojapelo, a manhunt has been launched for the suspect(s).

“The businessman’s bullet-riddled body was found wrapped in a plastic bag on a mountain at Tshidzivhe village on Wednesday, June 9. The motive for the killing is unknown,” he explained.

Mojapelo says police investigations continue.
