Cable theft leaves parts of Bendor and surrounding areas in the dark
It is not yet known how long the electrical team will take to restore power to the affected areas, says the Polokwane Municipality.

POLOKWANE – The Polokwane Municipality says areas within the city are currently without power due to cable theft.
These areas include Debron Estate, parts of Bendor and customers along Vharanani Street, says municipal spokesperson, Thipa Selala.
“The maintenance team is currently working on restoring power to the affected. No estimated restoration time has been reported,” he added.
Selala advised residents in the affected areas to treat all electrical wiring as live and to switch off all appliances during this time to avoid injury and damage once supply is restored.
